Hi higginz! you made sense to me, I understand completely, Ilove big Dogz ,killer album to me. There is one song on the album though that seems like it repeats alot and thats the song Claimed..I think that you just found me just found me out. I think that just goes on to much, to repiticious for me.And the Catch is a Good album, just to me the most different album the band have ever done.Really like ,as most fanz would agree this months mesiah. Its really amazing to me ,that after the catch comes Cinema, and what an album. They rock!! Cinema is one of my favorites by the Naz! But then again it goes back to what i have said before, and thats why I love Nazareth, you never know what your going to deversified, so amazing.. thats the Naz! And Hi Adam, I learned something.. I did not know they only made 50 copies of the Newz on vinyl. Im glad I bought my copy! I always buy the vinyl and cd versions of Nazareth. Just cant stop collecting all things Nazareth.I keep praying that someone would release Boogaloo, and Move me on Vinyl. Those were the only two Naz releases that never were released on vinyl.I could have sworn that I read somewhere along time ago that maybe it was Eagle records, was going to release the whole Nazareth catalog onto vinyl. I guess that never materialized. Take care guyz ... Ron

Hi Ron,

Yes sadly Boogaloo never got a vinyl release. 15 years ago very few new albums made it onto vinyl (a friend of mine who worked in the industry at the time confirmed it was as little as 2%!).

Thankfully things improved in the last decade and vinyl sales are buoyant again!

Incidentally I have seen some pictures of Move Me on vinyl (looked like a South American pressing) I cannot confirm if this was an official release though.

My favourite is "When Jesus come to save the world again" is the way like"the gathering" or "no mean city".....

I really like Big Dogz, Butterfly is a beautiful ballad and I love Sleeptalker, it is so quirky. Time and Tide is great, I am guessing it is Jimmy's autobiographical song. The three songs Naz played live in Glasgow are great too.
As for The Catch, its OK. The only real downer for me is You Dont Believe in Us, far too long. And I may be the only one who likes the erse on the cover :)

Good to see you Ron. Missed the forum.
Big Dogz is in the top 5 Nazareth albums of all time as far as I’m concerned.
Watch your Back (Vocals are out of this world)
Jesus Saved the World
No Mean Monster
Time and Tide

I'm with Higgi on this - also not really enjoying Big Dogz apart from Butterly. Can't wait to another album too.
Newz is one of my fav albums from Naz - Dying Breed, Liar, The Gathering are the highlights for me.
