I read an interview in Scottish press where Dan is saying how eager he is for the band to continue and find a vocal replacement. If that is the case, I am fully supportive of it as well.

I am sure Naz know about him for sure, but there is a brazilian band who have an amazing vocalist - who can do Nazareth tracks justice. The band is called Motorocker & they are pulling quite a crowd already, so not sure if they would be interested, but that is the closest match I have heard.. -Aside from the cultural / language /geographical challenges obviously... But check out this cover of Telegram..

check him out doing an ac-dc tune too

PS. shame about Billy Rankin turning it down though, cause he would have the fan-support I think. I saw his interview in Classic Rock where he was doubtful if the fanz would accept him, mentioning beer-bottle-dodging... He needn't have worried about any beer bottles from any self respecting Naz fan though(!). But, it is his choice & he have to want it to.. .it is after all a major undertaking.

Motorocker? More like a little off his rocker. That is shouting, forcing your voice to sing in a certain style...the very thing Dan never needed to do.

Dan had restrained power, released at full throttle when required, never forced. It is a talent few rock singers possess.

Keep on Nazing

I'm very sorry but this is the most unnatural Nazareth cover I have ever heard.
