Where was the venue Ron? I saw Naz with Lizzy as well at the fair grounds coliseum in Columbus 78/79. We didn't happen to be at the same concert did we??

What I thought was cool when Naz did "Shapes" and at the end of the song where it fades the fog machines were put on overdrive, song was still playing, fog cleared and Naz was off stage. Then of course came out for encore. Blew me away.

It was at the hara arena in Dayton . awesome venue, and awesome show! I saw the mighty Naz there three times. First time with thin Lizzy, then saw them with the Joe Perry project, and a guy named Vic Vergat, and the third time with a band,I believe were called Marseille.BAck in the seventies and eighties I saw a lot of bands at hara arena...Foghat,Starz,,Frank Marino and mahagony rush,Styx,Judas priest, iron maiden, kiss,Saxon. Just to name a few.But the Nazareth no mean city show was the absolute greatest show I ever saw, hands down the best ever!! I still always wondered what happened to that huge Nazareth sign,it had to cost a fortune to make.it was green for the no mean city tour, then they changed it to red for malice tour.at least I'm pretty sure it was green for no mean city tour,it looked just like it did on the album cover.someone has to know what happened to that beautiful sign??? Take care Rick!

I forgot to tell you Rick, there was a fourth time I could have seen Nazareth at hara arena. Naz were the opening act for Billy squire. I was so pissed off ,I decided not to go,IMean furious,my favorite band, the greatest band in the world the mighty Naz opening for Billy Squire.so I said to myself no way,and l didn't go.Billy Squire was really huge at the time,I think I remember reading that Manny didn't care for him, Manny said he had this huge ego, treated people really shitty. Oh well thought I would share that with ya! Take care Rick!

Thanks Ron. I actually saw Billy for the first time when his original band Piper played in Columbus. He opened for Angel. I really like Piper but never understood what happened to them. Their music was better than Billy Squire. Piper broke up and Billy emerged about 3-5 years later.

Not actually sure how many time I've seen Nazareth or how many miles I have traveled total, but never found mother band I liked better. Talk soon.

Since 1981. Saw these guys in the Patty Gym of University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1983. I sometimes think I imagined this concert since I have lost contact with my college friends. Wish I had seen more of them and gone to concerts. Always shall be a fan.

Well I first listened to Bad Bad Boy and Broken Down Angel, it was 73 and I was 10. I lost track of the Band as I was entering my teenage years, for the next 5 years it was Stuff like Slade, Mud, Cheap Trick and Sweet. Because of the Old Grey Whistle Test, bands like Skynyrd, Rush, and I will never forget the impact Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had as I watched them perform American Girl, in 78.
I bought my first Naz album in 79, of course it was No Mean City, I remember not getting into it easily and it got pushed to the back of the pile.
Meeting Keith in late 1980 helped change all that, first track he played me Telegram sorted !
First saw the band in October 81 S'Naz tour at Hammersmith Odeon. July 84 Milton Keynes Bowl with the Quo and Marrillion, then October 84 on The Catch tour Slough and London Dominion. Then 92 The Forum London, I saw Naz again on the little acoustic tour, Keith and I sold merch for the band at a small London show .
Iv'e seen the band a lot since 2001, including my Naz triple in Germany 2004 that was great !
Looking forwards to seeing a couple of shows in 2018

Rob

Since 1990, 1991 I bought several Nazareth albums on LP, and then No Jive came out and I knew this was my kind of band.

I became a Nazareth fan on 2`th of july 1972 in Horten, Norway. They where one of several bands warming up for Bob Marley. And I`m still a fan of the band. Looking forward to the new albume.
