It sure is quiet! Looks like the mighty naz are having fun! They are drawing large crowds everywhere they go...I love it ! A new record deal! A great time for the band and for nazmaniacs all over the world! Love seeing all the pics posted by the band. I keep wondering about the album cover, what the name of it will be, will they incorporate the skull and wings? I will make a prediction though...I think it's going to be one of the heaviest if not the heaviest naz albums ever! Just have that feeling.sends chills down my spine, thinking about this next naz masterpiece. Man, I would give anything, to watch these incredibly talented guys go thru the process of making this new album! Like Pete has said..he can't wait for the sparks to fly. And Carl has said I love it loud..it has to be loud! Oh yeah!!!just the way I like it!!

Hi Ron, Yea has been crazy quiet. They are totally killing it out there hey, so awesome.
Really excited about the new album and also the company they signed with, Frontiers Records.
From what ive read about them they really back their bands with promo airplay and touring.
Im going to see the guys here in 2 weeks in Winnipeg Canada. Totally stoked.
Take care, Keep Rockin!

That's awesome your going to see the mighty naz! I was hoping they were going to do a U.S. tour. I hope you will tell us about the show...what you thought about it. I have heard nothing but great things about frontiers records,so glad the band has signed to a major label.the new quiet riot album called road rage is really being promoted by frontiers,it seems like they will do the same for the new nazareth album as well! Can't wait! The mighty nazareth are just knocking it out of the park! It's awesome to watch and hear how great the band are doing! Take care..and give us a full report on the show!

Yes I will definately bring back a report on how amazing they were. Its a really nice old theater
they are playing and seats about 1600 which Im sure will be sold out.
I know the guys personally so I will be getting together with them before and probably after the show as well so it should be good. Yea I agree that they should do a US tour, im hoping that when the new album gets released the record co will help them do a full North American tour next year as it will also be their 50th anniversary.

WOW 50th anniversary. Seems like yesterday that I was traveling to Allentown to see their last show of the 40th anniversary. Man a lot has happened in the last 10 years.

Since you're personal friends with them, please tell them that their Columbus Oh fans all said hello. Ron, Snaz1 and That Family got to see them back stage while this band called Deep Purple was on stage. We got the better show. Amen Ron and Mike?

I believe it was 2015, wasn't it Rick? Anyway the Naz totally rocked,in the Columbus newspaper the review said nazareth stole the show, they went on to say nazareth played, like they had been playing together for twenty years, you have to remember Carl just joined the band. Pretty amazing! I had several deep purple fans come up to me, and say who the hell are those guys.I was proud to say they are the mighty Nazareth! To which they said where can I get a t shirt, where can I get there music...tell me about them..this ,that and so on..it was really cool! Rick and I have known the band and crew for a long time,we always manage to get backstage and talk to tam,Phil, and of course the boys in the band! It's always a great time.the mighty Nazareth and crew are the nicest guys in rock! I posted some pics on the forum of us backstage at the Columbus show, and the Columbus show is on youtube also.

That is totally awesome. Never hurts to gain new fans. I totally agree that they are absolutely the nicest guys in rock! I first met them in 1999, but in the early 2000's I started a concert promotion
company in Alberta , Canada, and I had the pleasure of being able to get Nazareth for my very first show! We sold out the theater and I was totally in awe of the mighty Naz. For a couple of years after that first single show, I toured them around western Canada, and got to know all of them very well. As well as quite a few other bands.
Im out of that business now and have since moved to central Canada but I keep in touch with them
and get out to see their show as often as I can.
One highlight among many, was myself and my crew threw a backstage birthday party for Dan
on his 60th, on the last night of a tour in the arena of my home town. It was fantastic, a great bunch of guys!

First show for me was no mean city tour,I knew in that instant they were the greatest band ever,I have been a hardcore nazmaniac from that incredible night onward. The next day I went to my local record store and bought every naz album I could get my hands on. Naz could play out of an amp the size of a shoebox, playing under a lightbulb hanging from a string, and I would be sitting right there, no matter what I had to pay,to see the mighty Naz! To me they are that great! They are in a league of there own..no other band comes close to nazareth!

Great conversation here guys. My first was the Expect No Mercy tour although I had already been a fan and loved their music since the Razamanaz album. Album?? What?? It's ok kiddies. It's what us older adults used to buy and listen too. That way we didn't miss the great music that was inserted in-between the hits.

Yes Columbus was 2015. Not sure how long Carl had been with them at this point but the show was amazing. I first met them in 2000 in Columbus and then proceeded to follow them that year to Massachusetts, then Maine and stopped to see them in West Virginia on the way home from our trade show business. Great guys. True to being really great. They remember our names. When we saw them in Allentown, my wife did not make the trip and they asked where's Vera. Whoa, they remembered her name and asked.

Rab was the greatest. We had so much fun with him. He is sadly missed by so many who loved him.
